Congratulations Class of 2023!

 
Congratulations to the class of 2023 which has been offered $3,338,034 in non-Hope scholarships! The 40 seniors will enroll in 23 different colleges and universities in 13 states. They earned admittance to an impressive 80 colleges in 28 states. They are shown wearing the t-shirt of the school they will attend in the fall.

Stephens Named Golfer of the Year

Tanner Stephens was named Hall County male golfer of the year at the Gainesville Times' athlete-of-the-year banquet. Tanner was chosen for his successful golf season highlighted by being the Hall County Championship low medalist.

Lakeview Earns Cybersecurity Recognition

Lakeview Academy has earned the Cyber Opportunity School Bronze Award for its level of participation in the CyberStart America competition. Students in Mr. Lovell's AP Computer Science A class participated in the cybersecurity competition and three performed well enough to qualify for scholarships.  Lakeview is the only school in Hall County to receive this level of honor.

Other Information

Free Sports Physicals on Monday, May 15

Free physicals will be offered  May 15 from 3:30-5:30 pm in the WAC to rising 6th-12th graders.
 
This is the only clinic offered at Lakeview for the 2023-2024 school year. Physicals are good for one calendar year.
 
Download and complete the Participation Physical Form for May 15, and have your child bring it with all required and completed forms to the clinic.

 

Join Us May 16 for an End-of-Year Celebration!

The entire family is invited! Games will start in the parking lot of Beverly’s Ace starting at 5 pm, and 10% of your food bill from 5-10 pm goes to Lakeview.

In celebration, Tuesday will be a spirit wear day for the entire school!

The class of 2023 has four Eagle Scouts- Luke Harris, Pierce Haynes, Akhil Mangalat, and Dylan Mulka. An Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).

Bins are overflowing with sweatshirts, coats, jackets, lunch boxes, Thermoses, and other items left behind throughout the year. Please stop by the lobby between the cafeteria and the Lower School gym to find your child's missing items.

Used Uniform Donations

 
Cleaning out your closets? Remember to donate your clean, gently used uniforms to the LPA Used Uniform Closet located in the hall between the lower school gym and fine arts wing. Current uniforms items only, please. We cannot accept regular clothing, orange polos, or shoes. Thanks!
