Region Player of the Year | Region Coach of the Year
Forward Liam Weidner is the GIAA District 4-AAA Region Player of the Year, and varsity soccer coach Philip Chittaro is the Region Coach of the Year.
In addition, Jay Davé, Akhil Mangalat, Bryan Ramsey, and Palmer White were named to the All-Region boys team. Amelia Corbin, Eden Gonzalez, Sadie Leek, Annie Nivens, and Mei-Mei Shen made the All-Region girls team.
Jay Davé, Akhil Mangalat, and Liam Weidner were also selected for the 2023 GIAA All-Star Soccer Team. The All-Star game is Thursday, May 25 in Macon. |
String Recital
At the recent strings recital, 41 students showed their talent with violins, violas, and cellos.
Brielle T. received the Golden Cup (15 points) at the North Gainesville Music Festival, a part of the Georgia Federation of Music Club.

The first-ever Innovation Fair is an opportunity to showcase the incredible work of fifth through eighth graders in engineering and technology. This open-house event is for all families, whether you have a participating child or not.

Do you know someone who would love Lakeview as much as you do? Invite them to attend our last open house of this school year on Tuesday, May 9 at 9 a.m. Families with PreK 3 through 12th-grade students are invited.

Free Sports Physicals on Monday, May 15
Free physicals will be offered Monday, May 15 from 3:30-5:30 pm in the WAC to Lakeview students in grades 5-11 who may play a school sport next year.
This is the only clinic offered at Lakeview for the 2023-2024 school year. Physicals are good for one year from the date of the physical.
