Lakeview Student wins TWO State Championships!

At the Georgia Forensic Coaches Association (GFCA) Varsity Speech & Debate State Championships earlier this month, Lakeview junior Valor Lekas won TWO state championships: Extemporaneous Speaking and Impromptu Speaking! Valor's high scores also helped Lakeview's team take third place overall in the state competition. GFCA is the governing body for speech and debate programs throughout the state of Georgia.

Celebrate Theatre in our Schools

March is “Theatre in our Schools” Month and the Upper School has approved special theme days for theatre students and any Upper School students who want to show their support.

Tell a Friend - PreK 3 is Expanding

Join UGA Tennis Youth Night on March 31

Lakeview Lower School students (5th grade and younger) are invited to youth night at the UGA men’s tennis match vs Kentucky on Friday, March 31 at 5 pm at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens. Admission and parking are free.

Anxiety propels us to run and seek safety or to act and face expectations. It gets our attention. But the worst stress lies in the spiral of anxiety about anxiety. Too much anxiety hurts and paralyzes. Learning how to handle anxiety and cope with it daily is very important in today’s world.
