Lakeview Hosts Region Basketball Tournament

Come cheer on your Lions as they compete at home in the region basketball tournament. The girls' team goes into the playoffs as the # 1 seed! On Wednesday's semi-finals, the boys play at 5:30 pm and the girls at 7:00 pm. Results from Wednesday will determine Friday's game times for the championship.

Welcome to the Upper School

The Upper School rolled out the welcome mat for rising 9th grade students and their parents last week. Upper School Director Mike Lawley walked students through the class registration process and college counselor Kelsey Marcero talked about how students' choices affect future classes, college choices, and scholarships.

Youth Art Month at the Quinlan

The annual Youth Art Month is an exhibition for elementary through high school students (kindergarten through 12th grade) sponsored by the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville, and Brenau University. Students will compete for honors and college scholarships.
 

Middle School Drive Concludes This Week

The Junior Beta Club is leading a middle school food drive benefiting Family Promise of Hall County. The drive runs through February 14.
 
 

National School Counseling Week Feb. 6-10

Schools across the nation celebrated the unique contributions of school counselors last week. School counselors help students achieve success in school, plan for a career, and help students learn how to deal with social and emotional issues. Read fun facts about school counselors.

How to Access Your Child's School Nurse Visit Notes

Parents of students who visit the school nurse will receive an email from Lakeview Academy with the address, <service@magnushealthportal.com>.
 
  1. Click the link provided to be directed to your Lion Portal login.
  2. Once logged onto the Lion Portal, click on the red Magnus Health Forms tile.
This will take you to your student's Magnus Student Health Records where you will see an envelope with a message to view treatment note.
