College Acceptances in Full Swing
The class of 2023 is off to a great start with impressive in-state acceptances from Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia and prestigious out-of-state acceptances from New York University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Wisconsin, and Baylor University to name a few.
The full list of college acceptances will be released later this spring.

Student's Artwork On Display
The latest installment of the Sherwood Art Project at Sherwood Plaza on Enota Drive features art by Lakeview junior Natalie Butler. She used colored pencils, markers, and watercolors to create a three-panel mural inspired by Gainesville landmarks.

Lions Win Region Tournament!
Congratulations to our boys JV basketball team for winning the region tournament last week over Bethlehem Christian with a final score of 95-88 in triple overtime.
The girls JV basketball team finished second in the region. |

Parents Made Wishes Come True --Thank you!
The teacher wish list published in December proved to be an easy way for parents to give teachers exactly what they wanted for their classrooms. From calculators, to cork maps, to rulers, to wobble stools, 74 individual items were purchased. Thank you!
