Sixth Graders Learn From Author
Lakeview sixth graders spent time last week via Skype with Rob Buyea, author of Because of Mr. Terupt, a book the students read last fall. The sixth graders asked questions as well as learned from Buyea’s often humorous stories of what it’s like to be a writer.

Robotics Team Heads to State
Lakeview's varsity robotics team won the Connect Award at the Northwest Region League Tournament and was a runner-up for the Inspire Award. The team now advances to the state tournament.

Swimmers Have Strong Showing at Championship
At the recent Hall County championship senior Matt Levine finished third in the 50 and 100 freestyle, and eighth grader Lydia Abell finished 2nd in the 50 breaststroke and 3rd in the 50 freestyle. The varsity boys medley relay team placed fourth.

Nivens Named to State Team
Annie Nivens is an honorable mention selection for the Georgia High School Soccer Preseason All-State Class AAA Girls Team. She was one of only 32 girls in the state to be selected for one of the All-State accolades in AAA.

Duke Named to 1st Team
Jakob Duke was selected for 1st Team All-State for the 2022 GIAA Clay Target Season. The GIAA awards the top 15 shooters from the GIAA State Championship last fall, which attracted more 550 participants.

Lakeview will host a series of coffees to discuss new middle school math opportunities beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.

Re-enrollment Time!
Re-enrollment contracts for the 23-24 school are available in the Lion Portal. All re-enrolling students are required to complete a contract and submit a tuition deposit. To secure your child’s seat submit your online contract and deposit by Friday, February 10. Note: You will have a separate contract for each child.
