All student laptops and laptop chargers in middle school must be returned at the end of the school year. This includes any loaner devices that have been checked out by students. If a device is not returned, the student’s account will be charged a fee for the missing item (charger - $40; laptop - $390; loaner laptop - $100).
Laptops will be collected at the end of the 2nd exam period on Tuesday, May 23rd (after 4 out of 5 exams are completed). Some students may want to keep their computers for the final exam on Wednesday, May 24th. If that is the case, the student can let Lakeview's technology personnel know on Tuesday the 23rd that they will be keeping it one more day. All devices MUST be returned no later than 12 pm on Wednesday, May 24th.
Additionally, you MUST remove any stickers, sticker residue, pencil marks, etc. before returning your laptop. Your account will be charged a laptop cleaning fee if excessive markings or residue remain.
