Built-in Tutorial
The easiest way to learn about the Lion Portal is to follow the instructions which automatically pop up when you log into the Lakeview Academy website/Lion Portal. This is a mini interactive step-by-step guide to where you can find information on how to use the Lion Portal.
Login to the Lion Portal/Lakeview Academy website at www.lakeviewacademy.com. If you have forgotten your user name or password, refer to that tutorial in this issue.
If the guide doesn’t automatically pop up or if you close the guide and want to reopen it, simply click your name (top, right navigation bar) and choose “getting started”.
Click the "Profile," "Settings" and "As a Parent" arrows on the right (in the dark gray section) to review how to use the system. As you review each section, the checkmark will change colors from white to green, (as shown below).
Getting Around
Resources
When you login to the Lion Portal, the page will open on the Resouce Board. You can also navigate to this page using the navigation bar in light blue (shown below). This page contains general school resources organized by subject with links to commonly used sites or useful downloads.
News is the perfect spot to check for the latest school happenings.
You can view News by Featured Content, Recent Activity, Scoreboard or search through Archived Content by clicking these tabs.
